Install an energy right efficiency heat pump for central heating and air conditioning by a TVA approved contractor. If qualified, you may finance a loan with no down payment at a low interest rate of 6% or 8% up to 120 months.
Operation Round-Up
By rounding your utility bill up to the next highest whole dollar, your contribution of a few pennies will go to our local school systems for educational materials. Local teachers are awarded 100% of the funds to directly benefit our local students. Operation Round-Up is administered by a fifteen-member board. No funds are expended for salaries or expenses. All contributions are tax deductible and the average contribution is $6 per year. All new accounts are automatically set up with Operation Round-Up. If you would like to participate and become a part of making a difference in the quality of education for our children you do not have to do anything; but if you choose not to participate please call our office to cancel your contribution.
Water Heater Program
Install or replace a water heater and receive up to a $100 credit on your next electric bill, or build a new home and install an electric water heater.
New Homes
Contractors who build new homes may qualify for incentives. Based upon electric equipment installed
Home eScore Program
- Get rebates for heating and water heating energy saving measures performed on your home by a contractor from
TVA's Quality Contractor Network (QCN). When converting from propane or natural gas. - Obtain a free home survey and inspection after completing one of the qualifying measures by a QCN member. This will give you a list of other items that may help you improve your homes efficiency.
- Financing may be available for some of the installed measures. The QCN member can assist you with this.
- Most items installed must meet ENERGY STAR requirements.
- Go to www.2escore.com for a list of QCN contractors in our area or come by the Cullman Power Board office to pick one up.
