Effective October 1, 2024, customers will see an increase in rates. For the first time since 2021, Cullman Power Board approved a local rate adjustment that will cause the average residential customer to see a $3 to $5 increase to their monthly bill. It is always the goal of Cullman Power Board to provide the most reliable service with the least amount of economic impact possible for our customers. However, the inflation rate of the last few years, the increased cost of materials and continuing supply chain issues make this increase necessary.

In addition to this increase, TVA has also approved a wholesale rate adjustment that will be a 5.25% increase that will be reflected on customer's bills. To find out more on this increase, you can visit this link.
